Rights and Responsibilties Policy
Purpose
To set out the rights and responsibilities of clients, families, and Peninsula Therapy Hub staff, ensuring safe, respectful, and effective therapy.
Your Rights
Be treated with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
Receive safe, high-quality, evidence-based therapy.
Participate in all decisions about your supports.
Privacy and confidentiality of your information.
Access to your records within legal limits.
Provide feedback or make a complaint without fear of retaliation.
Your Responsibilities
Treat staff and other clients with respect and courtesy.
Provide accurate, up-to-date information relevant to therapy.
Attend appointments on time or give at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation.
Remain on-site during your child’s session, as stated in the Service Agreement
Inform Peninsula Therapy Hub of changes to contact details, consent status, or funding.
Pay fees as outlined in the Service Agreement and cover any gap if NDIS funding is insufficient
Our Responsibilities
Deliver services in accordance with the NDIS Act 2013, Practice Standards, and Victorian laws.
Keep you informed of service changes with at least 28 days’ notice of fee adjustments
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and accessible environment.
Protect your personal information as per the Privacy Policy.
